#31daysofyoutube 18 &19

First off, sorry I had to cancel #chicscope last night.  I was not feeling super duper at all!  I knew if I did the scope my heart wouldn't be in it and I value your time.  #chicscope is back on for tonight!

Both of these topics are very specific to you and your channel.  Personally goals are very important to me.  They help to keep me focused and on track.

Create a couple of goals for your channel next month.  I don't recommend making a subscriber count as a goal.  You cannot control the number of subscribers on your media but you can control the number of videos you produce, adding a intro and such.

Having a filming checklist is another important tool to stream line your system.  I am creating a new checklist as we speak but having something to refer back to when starting to film will be very helpful. A few things on my checklist are: focus camera, check shot, clear memory card, gather supplies, create shot list and thumbnail.

You can create a list to put in your planner, use excel or another process that works best for you.  It is easier to start building this list now and update it as your channel grows :)  What are some things on your list?

  • Create 3 goals for your channel next month.  How will you grow?  Videos?  Editing? Graphics?
  • Start a filming checklist
Don't forget #chicscope tonight at 6pm MST!

#31daysofyoutube- Video #2

I've run into a few technical glitches.  The post that was scheduled today was somehow deleted.  I am quickly posting this during my lunch at the office.  :)  Carving time, ya'll!

The prompt for today is filming your 2nd video.  Take a look at your list.  What video are you in the mood to film today?   Take the time today and film your video.  Don't worry about editing it or anything like that.  Just get in front of your camera today.

Tonight's #chicscope will feature Hank!

Again, sorry this post is a little tossed together but I went to check on the post today and noticed it was missing.  Flexibility is another key to success, Ha!

#31daysofyoutube 16- Creating a Schedule

I am a planner and list girl.  I love being organized and using tools to increase my productivity but what do you really need to get started?

On day 1 I had you grab a notebook, planner or anything to help you get organized, we looked at analytics and now we are ready to create a schedule.  So how do you do that?

Be HONEST with you time.  If you are working full time, a mom and such you probably will not have the time to film 7 videos a week.  Why not focus on 1 awesome video or maybe two?  Be honest with yourself and how much time you have.

Take a look at your previous videos.  What days were the highest view days?  Was that because you shared them on your media?  Upload day?  Pick a day of the week (or days) and create a upload schedule.  A lot of successful content creators upload twice a week.  Pick your days and be consistent.

  • get your planner out and look at the month of September.  Also, get your personal planner.
  • Mark everyday you will NOT have time to film, edit or work on your channel in the month of September.  Be realistic.  Are you back in school?  vacation?  family visiting?
  • Decide what day or days of the week you want to upload on
  • Pull out your video idea list and decide what videos you want to film
  • Schedule all of the tasks needed to complete these videos in your blocks on free time.  DON'T OVERWHELM YOURSELF!  If you community knows your upload schedule and you cannot fulfill that just let your community know.  :)  If you don't have the time to film and such all in the same day break it up.
  • Post a pic on Instagram using #31daysofyoutube showing your September content schedule.

Don't forget everyday at 6pm I host #chicscope on periscope and we discuss the prompt of the day.  :)  Follow @mandyjeanchic on periscope to get notifications when #chicscope is live.

#31daysofyoutube- Video Lists & How to Organize

A common question I am asked is "how do you organize video ideas?"  The easiest explanation.  I keep a list inside my planner.  If you would like to see a picture I posted a couple on Instagram today :)  Head over there to see them (@MANDYJEANCHIC on Instagram)

Keep a list of video requests, ideas and so on.  Writing them down will be so valuable to you!  If you don't keep a planner you can use a notebook, post its and so on.  Whatever works for you, use it!!!

How do you organize your video ideas?

Join us tonight at 6pm MST on periscope to see my youtube planner and other organizing ideas.  Follow @mandyjeanchic

#31daysofyoutube- Day 14- Research Yo Videos!

What is your favorite part of being on youtube?  Is it filming? Community? Editing?  Mine is creating content.  I love thinking of content to film.

Let's be honest.  We don't know everything.  When creating videos sometimes we need to research topics and crafts.  ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS let your viewers know where you are getting your info.  You don't need to say it in a video unless it is pretty obvious you were inspired by a certain project or content.  When I research a topic or get inspired by someones project I ALWAYS link to their content in my description box.

I can't stress how important referencing researched content is.  Taking another creators content, no matter how small, is wrong.  Give credit where credit is due. When doing this you are creating a relationship and credibility.

No homework today!!!  Happy Friday!

If you have more questions or want to hang out join me on Periscope at 6pm MST.  Follow @mandyjeanchic.

#31daysofyoutube- Day 13- Responding to Your Community

As your channel grows your community involvement will also.  Here in a few days we will talk about building your community but today I only want to talk about responding.

Comments, tweets, Facebook messages, likes, hearts, blog posts, Instagram DM, Instagram comments and so on....  Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming.

I have no formula ya'll.  I have no secret tip to make responding easier.  Do the best that you can and acknowledge your community members.  For example,  right now I am SUPER behind on my email. I knew I would have time today to catch up and respond so on my scope last night I made sure my community knew that.  Set aside some time everyday (if you can!  you figure out what works for you) to respond.

I respond to each and every comment that is left.  Yes, it is something I do constantly and sometimes my messages are more brief than I would like but if someone takes the time to leave me a comment and appreciate what I am doing, you bet I will return that favor!!

If you see someone is leaving you a bunch of hearts on periscope, or liking your photos on Instagram.  Take the time to head over to their media and show them some love back.  I can't do this with everyone but I remember usernames.  If i see someone repeatedly leaving me love I will check them out.

Negative comments are going to happen.  Don't feed the trolls!!!  While I am sure you will want to defend yourself remember this.....  No one wins when feeding trolls.  Behind a computer screen they are vicious little beasts that have nothing better to do than be mean.  DELETE AND BLOCK THEM!  Out of sight and out of mind.

If someone leaves a comment that just ruffles your feathers, DELETE & BLOCK THEM and then send me a email so we can talk about how much they don't matter.  99.99999% of the time, they do not have a channel, do not put themselves on the internet and live for being mean.  DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!  It's like getting a gremlin wet.

  • respond to all of your comments, tweets, emails and so on.
  • take a look at your instagram.  who has been leaving you a lot of love lately?  take the time to head over to their profile and leave them some love.
  • block time in your schedule to respond to your community

#31daysofyoutube- Day 11- Analytics

No matter where you are in your YouTube journey tracking your analytic's matter.  How else will you see what videos have views, audience retention and so on.  So so so so important!!!

In the creator studio under the analytic tab you will see a list of options.  You can view earnings, demographics and so on.  CRUCIAL INFO!!!  You will learn so much about your subscribers and videos by watching your stats.

If you look below I shared what my top videos of the month are.  Planner, planner, beauty, planner, planner, beauty and vlogs.  Having a idea of what your subscribers like to watch, what videos are being searched for and so on can help you plan your content and deliver content that will be watched. Use this info to shape your future content.  Deliver what people are looking for.

One of my favorite areas to look at is the "Playback locations"  This will tell you where people are watching your videos from.  I like to make sure people are still watching my videos from my blog.  If I keep seeing views I will keep posting to my blog.  If I see views decrease my time could be used elsewhere.

Constant Contact created a great blog post called "Understanding YouTube Analytics".  I highly suggest you check it out!

Join me tonight on Periscope to discuss analytics even more!  While youtube makes viewing your stats really easy they no longer offer a daily view.  Tonight I will talk about how to find out when people are viewing your videos.  Follow @mandyjeanchic on Periscope and join us at 6pm MST.

  • Play around with your analytics.  Get familiar with where things are listed, what info you can find and such.
  • Look at your top viewed videos.  Add a few more of that type of video to your content planning.

#31daysofyoutube Day 11- Cross Promoting Your Youtube Videos

Once your video is live what is the 1st thing you want to do?

You already have some great search friendly tags and a title but there is more to like than SEO.  You need to cross promote your video.  There is a fine line between promoting content and spamming content.

Let's talk about that......

When you post a video and you send a tweet, a Facebook message, instagram, and so on, guess what?  You just spammed your subbies.  How can you promote your videos without spamming?

Promote your video throughout the day.  Send a tweet after it is posted, add it to Facebook a couple hours later and so on.  Promoting videos on Instagram can be tricky.  What I like to do is snap a pic while I am filming the video to share.  Example... July favorites video.  I snapped a quick pic of the products I wanted to share.

Also, when promoting change up your messages.  Don't say "here is my new video ya'll"  How about "Are you ready to dive into creating a thumbnail on youtube?" or "Thumbnails on youtube, how to create them and why you should use them!"  ENGAGE!!!! ENGAGE!!!! ENGAGE!!!!!

What about posting your videos to your blog?  You know I do this all the time but here is how I do it seamlessly.  While I post the same video on my blog I add material to the blog post itself.  You don't just want to regurgitate your video into a post word for word.  Be clever!  Take the time!

When sharing your videos make sure you do share them on all your social media platforms because someone may only be following you on one but remember the end result is to convert them to a youtube subscriber.

Extra tips!!!

  • create a # specific to your channel and blog.  This will allow others to search by the # to find more info, videos and such.
  • use # to your advantage.  When sharing your video on instagram & twitter think of a couple # to add.

  • Promote your video that was posted yesterday on ALL of your social media throughout the day.  Make sure to use #31daysofyoutube so I can check them out!
  • Find what platforms you enjoy using and start creating a social media calendar.  Prompt yourself to share your videos!

#31daysofyoutube 10- Thumbnails & Publishing your Video

Sometimes thumbnails can be a after thought when making videos.  It happens!!  Thumbnails are one of the most important things you can create for your videos.  Guess what awesome thumbnails do.... engage your audience!

Thumbnails are really easy to create and you have a ton of options.  A couple of personal examples.  Sometimes when I am filming I forget to snap a thumbnail.  Now what do I do??

1.  I can take a screen shot from my video
2.  Take a quick thumbnail
3.  Create a graphic

All 3 are perfectly acceptable!  When I forget to create a thumbnail I normally will screen capture a image, add text and use it.  Below is a quick tutorial I created showing you how I screen capture a image and make a quick thumbnail.

Thumbnails are normally the first thing a viewer sees.  Use that to your advantage!  Spend the extra few minutes creating a thumbnail that will make them want to watch your video!!

When uploading a video youtube will pick 3 thumbnails for you and insider tip....  they will be the 3 times you are making a "derp" face.  Never fails!  If you account is in good standing and verified with youtube you have the ability to upload a custom thumbnail.

I included a few examples of thumbnails I had great success with and why

This thumbnail was popular because I included brands I was featuring in my haul.  Also... who doesn't love holiday graphics???

While this graphic is super duper simple it shows you EXACTLY what we were talking about. No fluff and not misleading.  Misleading thumbnails will just effect your credibility.

I included a few pics from the video.  This was a full makeup tutorial and outfit of the day.  Again, the thumbnail shows exactly what I am including in the video.

This thumbnail was really funny.  When I filmed the video I completely forgot to do a thumbnail so I was scanning through my "stock images"  and found this one.  When I need a little "me time"  I love to jump in Abby (My FJ Cruiser) and head to the Mesa.  So even though this thumbnail didn't reflect the setting for the video it still was a reflection of the content.

Now that we have uploaded the video, added a title, searchable tags, created a awesome thumbnail guess what?  You are ready to publish.  In my video about I show you how to publish your video but it is as simple as this.

In the creator studio click on video manager.  Edit the video you want to publish.  In the drop down menu where it says PRIVATE, change it to Public and save.  Your video is now published :)

  • Create a awesome thumbnail that reflects the content of your video
  • Publish that video!!!!!!!!!!!!
For more thumbnail and publishing tips or if you have questions make sure to join us tonight at 6pm on periscope.  Follow @mandyjeanchic :)  If you can't make the live broadcast check my youtube channel tomorrow and I always post the replays :)

#31daysofyoutube Day 9- Using Titles & Tags in Youtube

Titles and tagging your youtube videos is one of the most important things you can do to optimize your search.  Using clever titles to engage and attract viewers is one way but adding keyword tags is another.

I created a quick tutorial on how to title and add tags to your video.  Tonight on Periscope we will talk ever more in-depth about this.  If you are interested in joining us live on Periscope follow @mandyjeanchic.  Everyday around 6pm MST I host a #31daysofyoutube #chicscope and we discuss the current days prompts.  I offer tips, tricks and sometimes giveaways.

  • Make sure every title and tag is relevant to your video.  No one wants to be mislead.
  • Some great title keywords are; How-to, Vs, Epic, Incredible, Trendy Topics, Questions and Lists.
  • Put specific keywords first when tagging

Take a look at your first video (or last video).  Think of a searchable and engaging title.  If you were searching for a video like that what would you search for?

Update your tags to include specific tags (1 word), compound tags (multiple words), Generic (how-to, tutorial, etc) and a few commonly misspelled words.  Never under estimate the power of autocorrect ;)

#31daysofyoutube 8- Editing & Uploading Videos

Now that you have finished filming your first video it is time to edit it and get the video on youtube :)

I use iMovie to edit all of my videos but if you are a windows fan I have shared a few editing programs below.  I have never used them but I've heard good things.

Wondershare ( $19.99 1 year license or $39.99 full license)-  I've heard this program is really easy to use!

MovieMaker- comes on most windows computers.

Adobe Premier ($9.99/month)- Learning curve but allows you to create very professional videos

What video editing software would you recommend for Windows?

Derral Eves is one of my favorite youtube educators and I think you will find his software video helpful :) I also recommend subscribing to him!

Being a Apple junkie I use iMovie and I am learning Adobe.  iMovie is very easy to use and there are 100s of 1000s of tutorials on youtube.  :)  Let me show you how I edit and upload a #chicscope.  I also show you how I create my graphic.  BONUS!!!!!!

Edit your video and upload it to youtube.  Make your video private as tomorrow I will give you title and tag tips.  :)  If you want to post your video you are more than welcome to as you can always edit the title, tags, thumbnail and such later.

#31daysofyoutube- Day 6- 1st Video

Now that you have your channel set up, branded and looking chic it's time to make your first video.

I decided to start a little tag to use as a guide for your first video.  Something fun.  The easiest thing to talk about is yourself.  I want you to set up your equipment, take a couple minutes to remind yourself how awesome you are and turn that camera on.  Be yourself!  Show others why you are awesome!

  • filming space tour
  • 10 awesome facts about you
  • what kind of videos you will be filming.  A intro to your channel ;)
  • tag video (search youtube tag video on google)
  • unboxing or mail video
  • haul
  • planner/interest video
  • ANYTHING!!  Just get in front of your camera
The only videos I don't recommend starting out with are ones that are going to require a significant amount of time editing.  Make your first video easy!

Film your first video today.  Don't edit it, don't upload it, just film.  The whole focus of today is to get you out of your comfort zone and in front of your camera.

Yes, it is kind of awkward talking to a camera but as you film more videos it goes away.  I am actually more comfortable in front of my camera than I am when I am speaking in public.

#31daysofyoutube- Branding

Branding is one of the most important things you can do for your channel.  If your channel is part of your business, blog or other #sidehustle everything should feel cohesive.

So how do you brand your channel???

1.  Use similar fonts and colors

Using fonts that reflect your brand is so important!  I try to use 2 or 3 fonts on my images, graphics and blog posts.  Even when you watch my vlogs my fonts are still the same.  Keeping with my brand.  When writing blog posts this is even more crucial.

Keeping within a color scheme is also important.  Everyone has stumbled upon those really pretty blogs with white backgrounds and 2 or 3 colors.  Very pleasing to the eye.  You are setting a scene with color.  Be mindful that some screens do not pick up the colors the same.  When creating a color scheme for your blog and channel keep in my what will show up, colors that will not take away from your videos and most of all blend with your brand.

I will go more in-depth on colors and fonts tonight on Periscope.  If you miss #chicscope tonight at 6pm MST check my youtube channel for replays.

2.  Using similar or same profile pictures

The first thing people look for when watching a video, your blog and such is a picture of you.  I try to keep the same profile picture across all of my media.  I want people to easily recognize me.  If your brand is related to your business maybe you want to use your logo.  Think about what you can use to be recognized.

3.  Graphics

Having graphics that reflect your brand is crucial.  Think about Mandy Jean Chic.  Pink, Gold, Tribal, Southwest and a little modern.  That is the look I want people to recognize.  If i started posting images of very traditional graphics it would not fit into my blog or channel.  Think about how you want people to view your brand.

4.  Channel Art

The banner across the top of your channel is a AWESOME way to draw visitors to your channel.  You can do so much with it.  Show people who your are and what your channel is about.  Below are a few of my favorite channel banners.

You can make your own channel art on for free :)  Minimum width is 1546x423 pxs.  You may need to adjust it depending on your graphics and such.

For more info about creating channel art and uploading visit Youtube Help:

I highly highly suggest you watch the Building Your Brand Glampire Chat.  Tons of awesome info!!

Design your channel art and share a picture on #31daysofyoutube via Instagram.

Think about ways you can improve your channel brand.  What do you need to do to brand your channel. Create a action list of easy tasks you can do and brand your channel. Small steps so you do not get overwhelmed.

#31daysofyoutube- Day 5- Lighting and Set

Videos that are filmed with poor light do not get the best views.  Plain and simple.  Cut and Dry.  Finding good lighting can sometimes be a battle when filming but I am going to let you in on a secret.  The best lighting is FREE!!!!!!

Natural light is the best lighting for your videos.  Unless the sun is extremely harsh (middle of the day) your colors will be true and your video will be well lit.

What happens if you do not have a room with good natural light to film in?  You can purchase a lighting kit on amazon fairly cheap.  My only suggestion with these lighting kits would be to film some test videos and look at your color balance.  Is your video to cool?  to warm?  to blue?  to yellow?  You may need to change the bulbs to find the right color.  :)

I've included a couple suggested lighting kits below

PRO TIP:  Even if you film all your videos in natural light I still suggest having a back up lighting kit for videos that just need a little extra.  Example.... New Mexico has been incredibly rainy!  On the days when the clouds are out I wish I had a lighting kit just to increase the lighting a little bit.

Also check out some of these videos and resources about lighting.  Great tips!!!!

I am going to create a separate blog post about creating a set.  As I was writing this section I realized how much information there is to share and I think a separate post will be best along with a separate video.  I should be posting this section tomorrow or the latest the weekend.  :)

I do have some quick tips on creating a set and background.

1.  Film in a area that is clutter free.
2.  Make sure anything that has your private info is removed.
3.  When filming close up shots make sure the back drop is clean and uncluttered.  You want to showcase what you are doing or showing :)

I am very excited to share the "Set" blog post and video this week!!

Take a look at your filming area.  Do you have good natural light or should you look at a lighting kit? Is it clutter free and inviting?  Share a picture on Instagram of your filming area and use #31daysofyoutube.  I will be giving away a surprise set decoration on 8/31 :)  Make sure to use #31daysofyoutube to enter and share on Instagram.

#31daysofyoutube Day 4- Cameras

You can't have a youtube channel without a camera right???  I am a firm believer in starting with what you have.  If you have the budget to buy a dslr to start that is super but it is perfectly ok to start with what you have.  I started my channel using a Sony Powershot that my Grandmother gave me.

Let me tell you a secret.  That smart phone you have sitting beside you.... may have a awesome camera.  My iPhone 6plus can even shoot HD 1080p.  When you are starting your channel I think it is ok to start with your phone camera or a point and shoot until you decide how serious you want to take your channel.  All of my vlogs are shot with my iPhone.  Just sayin'.......

So what are some options if you do want to purchase a camera....  My first tip is think about the kind of videos you want to make.  If you want to shoot detailed craft videos, want a blur to your background and more control over your lenses you may want to look at a DSLR.  If you want to vlog and have a portable camera you will want to look at a small portable camera.

DSLR- Most youtube creators shoot part if not all of their videos with a DSLR.  The blury backgrounds, detailed shots and such are all part of DSLR land.  DSLR are not the easiest cameras to get started using and I HIGHLY suggest Shoot Fly Shoot photography classes.

I use a Canon T5i.  I love love love love love this camera.  While I shoot my videos with a factory 18-55 lens my videos are crisp and the sound is ok.  I am looking at purchasing a mic but that is for another blog post.  I prefer shooting my sit down videos and craft videos with my t5i.  This camera does have a auto focus and flip screen which was the biggest selling features.

Personally I love a Canon DSLR for video but I know a few creators use Nikon also.  I would suggest doing research and watching videos shot with both cameras to help you make a decision.

VIDEO/POINT & SHOOT CAMERAS-  The biggest attraction to these type of cameras is the continuous focus and portability.  There are ssssooooo many great point and shoot cameras on the market right now.  If you are looking for a camera to take action shots I can't recommend a GoPro enough but I would never ever film a DIY video on a GoPro ;)

Again, think about your type of videos before you purchase a camera.  You may end up needing a few different kinds of cameras.

Here are some of the cameras I currently own and use.  This may appear to be a little much for some but keep in mind video media is my passion.  I have a Canon t5i for photography and videos, Nikon D3200 for photography (Nikon takes great photos!), GoPros for various action videos, my iPhone, and a point&shoot.  All of these cameras have different functions.

I found a few awesome articles online about cameras for youtube and wanted to share them with ya'll.  I am not about "borrowing" someones content to make it my own.  I prefer to give you my info and point you in the direction of others who created the content first.  :)

No homework today!!!!!!  I just wanted to share my camera information with you and get you thinking :)  What type of camera do you currently film on??

#31daysofyoutube Day 3- Channel Description

Yeah!!!!!  You've set your channel up!!!!  Congrats!!!!  Make sure to leave a comment below with your channel URL so I can check it out!

Having a channel description is almost as important as a channel name.  Your channel description tells your potential audience what you do and who you are.  Here is a example of mine and a few others I love.

My description could use a little help.  While I list a little about me, I don't say what my channel is about, what type of videos I produce and other important information.

Let's look at a few other descriptions and gather some ideas.....

I love how Aleigha gives a little info about her, what her channel is, her upload schedule and contact details.  I also really like how she lists her links below.  If you really enjoy her channel it would prompt you to follow her on other media channels.

Alexis, Lisa Marie and Melissa all have interesting channel descriptions.  They really give you information about their channel, share their links and keep it professional.

So what goes into a rock star channel description??

  • List your channel name and the name you would like your subscribers to know you as
  • A little info about who you are
  • Why someone should subscribe to your channel and what type of videos do you produce
  • Upload schedule
  • Contact information
  • Links
  1. Check out your favorite youtube creators.  Use their descriptions as inspiration
  2. Update your channel description
  3. Take a screen pic of your channel description and share it on Instagram using #31daysofyoutube
I went ahead and used the prompts to update my description.  I think it looks more professional but still adds a little humor.

#31daysofyoutube-Day 2- Channel Set Up/Name

Thanks for the support yesterday!  I love see your pictures, tweets and videos!!  You guys rock my face off!!!

Day #2- setting up your channel and thinking of a name

(If you need help setting up your channel please email me at  I know most of the people following along already have a channel set up.  I am going to show you my settings so you can compare and give you some ideas on channel names.

No pressure.... but a channel name is the #1 item you need to think about before you start your channel.  My channel name is MANDYJEANCHIC because it coincides with my brand and blog.  If your channel will be more lifestyle I suggest starting a channel with your name or nickname in it.  Lifestyle and vlog channels are very personal channels meaning subscribers follow you because they like your personality, lifestyle and such.

If you channel is geared towards a specific niche I would suggest using that niche in your name.  For example...  If you are creating a channel to review youtube videos you may want to use "YoutubeGuru", "YoutubeReviews" and so on.  Something that will be easy for people to search and remember.

If you are considering changing your channel name or focus and you really haven't built your channel now is the time to do so.

Take a look at the list from yesterday and review your favorite types of videos.  Now think of the videos you want to film and produce.  Do you see any similarities?  How can you name your channel to make it easy to search?

Another suggestions..... Do not use a lot of numbers in your channel names.  People may remember 1 or 2 numbers but anything beyond that people will not remember.  I suggest keeping your channel name inline with your brand.

1.  Once you have decided on a channel name send me a tweet @mandyjeanchic and tell me what your new channel name is.  Use #31daysofyoutube.

This section is going to be fairly brief and more outside resources.  I want to share with you how I have my channel set up so you can use that as a guide when setting yours up.  Now that you have your channel name picked out, you can set up your channel.  GET EXCITED!!!!!!!

When you log into youtube your screen will look similar to this.  Click the glue guy in the right hand corner.

Go ahead and select Creator Studio.  This will prompt you to create your account.

The only thing I want you to do today is to get your channel set.  We will add a picture, banner and such in a couple of days.

You google + Profile is directly related to your youtube channel.  Make sure your Google+ profile is set up to reference the brand of your channel.

Check out this video if you need help setting up your channel from step 1.

1.  Set up your channel
2.  Click around in the Creator Studio and get familiar with the settings

Our live q&a!  I will be hosting it at 6pm MST.  Follow me @mandyjeanchic.  Bring questions, video ideas and anything else you want to talk about.  :)  This scope will be live but if you can't make it you can always tweet or leave your questions for me on Instagram.  I will still answer them so you can watch the replay.

Check out the #chicscope from yesterday
